Custom Grower Cards

Objective
Partner with Pax Labs to design customizable, compliant packaging for the Era Pods. Packaging must comply with cannabis packaging and labeling requirements, incorporate a child-resistant design, and be easily manufacturable. Packaging solution will be available to growers nationwide; establishing a universal design is critical.

Solution
We [Uneka] established a cross-functional, in-house team of Structural Design, Graphic Design, Project Management and Manufacturing. I was responsible for designing the universal visual template and assisting 100+ growers with artwork layout and production design.

The Era Pod packaging was designed as a family of components, that could be purchased individually or together. Components includes card, card label, puck, puck label, tamper seal sticker, jig and POP display. The puck design was inspired from a medicine bottle — requiring the user to vertically align two arrows, then, lift the top cap off of the container. In addition to the locking mechanism, a holographic tamper seal is adhered horizontally over the seam.

The card label and puck label are comprised of an adhesive BOPP material, that can be adhered to a 48pt SBS card or puck. All 3 items are customizable components that can visually align with the growers' brand and look great in a dispensary retail setting.
