FINIS Brandfolder

Problem
Brand assets were scattered amongst multiple locations, including internal servers, cloud storage and personal external hard drives. Lack of accessibility and communication led to Marketing misalignment. The FINIS Creative team would frequently find outdated imagery and product copy and accidentally use these assets for promotions in critical new markets. The changes saved the team an average of 10 hours each week responding to email requests for assets that had already been created.

Objective
Implement an online asset management system that promotes asset circulation amounts the global, FINIS network. 

Solution
I chose Brandfolder for it’s simple, visual interface and intuitive organizational structure. I organized assets into categories, and created custom tags to improve search functionality. The Product Media Kit category utilized Brandfolder’s file stacking feature. Each asset (product) included 5-10 studio and usage photographs, technical specifications, inventory detail sheet, size chart, and social media content–shared with a single link. Because of our team efforts, we empowered employees and partners to quickly find resources that matched their needs, streamlined communication throughout the organization, supported product launch initiates, and provided immediate accessibility to assets.
