FINIS Live

Objective 
Create framework, high fidelity wireframes, copy content, and visual design for an iOS and Android friendly mobile application. The core function of the FINIS Live mobile application is to enable Bluetooth connectivity to FINIS electronic devices and provide real-time, interactive data analysis of workout performance statistics. 

Solution
We established a cross-functional, in-house team of Product, Web and Design leads for the project. I was responsible for overall Project Management and also the lead for Visual Design. I managed the partnership with an external software development company, IntellectSoft to develop the application.

During the design process, we wanted the application to be simple, intuitive, and support a layout that enabled growth and the introduction of new Bluetooth® devices in the future. Each workout contains massive amounts of data—we developed interactive bar graphs that enables the users to customize the settings on the x-axis and y-axis, and isolate data per swim stroke. Summary data allows users to view the essential information without getting overwhelmed.
