UHFS Directional Signage

Objective
Design a directional signage system for the University Housing and Food Service (UHFS) Preview Day event. The final design needed to quickly grab visitors’ attention, convey the intended direction of foot traffic, and incorporate a creative design approach.

Solution
The primary signage function, “direction”, was re-iterated through custom photography, which shows the shoes pointed in the desired audience direction, while using the appropriate arrow direction and “THIS WAY” text. Largely scaled, bold and colorful typography helped effectively grab viewer’s attention.
